As Hip Hop evolves, the players change. Amidst scores of budding artists in the genre resides a fresh crop of super talents that catch one’s ear and eye. At the forefront of this cohort is Indica, who is creating an unparalleled buzz with his infectious style and sound. There is no doubt that this gifted twenty-something, who is shaking up the industry with enchanting Hip Hop offerings, boasts an awesome future.

The year of 2018 has proved to be a sizzler for The Indica to put it mildly, culminating with the Los Angeles Hip Hop artist/rapper inking an EP, distribution and marketing deal with legendary Hip Hop label Tommy Boy Records. Indica wasted no time in dropping a series of singles, including “INTOXICATED” from his debut EP on Tommy Boy Records — titled RETROMODERN, which was released March 29, 2019. This effort, produced and mixed by Andrew Luce, is inspired by 80’s movies like the cult classic “Scarface” and millennial fav, “Tron”.

As one of music’s most innovative stars, Indica has scored all year long, cranking out a myriad of new projects. Solo bangers, funky collaborations, visuals, and performances made Indica a hit! And his highly rated “RAGERS” project capped off the year quite nicely. Known by his fans and admirers as the “Aesthetic GOD,” Indica provided the psychedelic visual for “Hendrix” (Directed by Indica and shot and edited by Albert Acosta) and dropped an amazing line up of collabos with the likes of producer Andrew Luce, Grace Gunn and Croosh, unquestionably elevating his Iit factor.

Also solidifying his roles as a songwriter, producer, and fashion mogul, the rising star’s prosperous season resulted in a partnership with 7th Agency, headed by industry heavyweight Kevin Evans.
