Cleveland Rapper Mookie Motonio Heats up the Summer with “Plot Twist” Featuring Krayzie Bone

Published

on

Cleveland, Ohio has a reputation for raising young rappers who can effortlessly translate stories of street life into catchy, melodic rap songs. The most famous of these artists was the legendary group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Rapper Mookie Motonio is the latest Ohio creative to grab our attention. What sets him apart from his peers is the natural bounce that sits at the core of his songs. Moreover, he’s very versatile in his style. There’s also depth and nuance to his songwriting. Mookie Motonio makes songs that you can party to in one setting and learn life lessons from in another. He can really do it all.

Equally important, Mookie Motonio counts Hip Hop legends such as Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Three 6 Mafia, Project Pat, Biggie, 2Pac, Jay Z, UGK, and Fabolous as his biggest inspirations and influences. According to the dynamic wordsmith “they all impacted the culture in many ways. They made timeless music and were never afraid to be themselves. And that’s what I’m doing with my brand.” Mookie is bold, daring and direct. The philosophy I live by involves the fact that we’re all here to serve but sometimes it’s ok to be selfish. You can’t pour from an empty cup,” states the rapper.

Most of the music production for Mookie Motonio is deftly handled by producer Matt Light The Flame. But Mookie looks forward one day to working with super producers DJ Paul, Pharrell and Tay Keith. The talented rhyme spitter recently released his critically acclaimed album called “Aight, So Boom,” which is the perfect album for the summer of 2022. The project spawned the hit single “Plot Twist” featuring Krayzie Bone. The song is a certified hit. Mookie Motonio’s compositions move past generic trap tales and take the listener on a deeper and more introspective level. Versatility is a key component of his brand. Respect the grind and join the movement.
