Katy Perry‘s Prismatic World Tour style is a mix of whimsical outfits, glittery makeup looks and colorful hair. And now for the premiere of the tour’s film, the singer’s sharing all kinds of behind-the-scenes tidbits from her time on the road.

The biggest revelation the star made? Her favorite hair color.

“I actually really liked my green phase for a long time,” Perry told reporters at the World Premiere Screening of Katy Perry: The Prismatic World Tour. (In case you need a quick refresher she’s tried red, purple, green and blue, plus, she’s never been afraid of colorful hair extensions.)

While she’s busy constantly changing her mane, it seems her shoe collection has less variety. When asked how many pairs she packs for a tour the singer explained, “I take a suitcase full. I’d probably say about 25 and I wear about five.”

As for a typical concert day, she maintains it’s all about rest. “I sleep a lot. That’s kind of all my strength. I’m not a 9 a.m.-5 p.m. girl, I’m a 9 p.m.-5 a.m. girl,” she shared. “I really start my day about noon and end my day about 3 a.m., so I’m getting quite a lot of sleep — it’s about nine hours and maybe more — and then there’s a regimen that I start from the moment I wake up.” A regimen that consists of acupuncture, alignment or bodywork, a workout, steam, shower, mix of “lotions and potions” and finally, vocalizing.

Even with so much prepping, she still found down time to explore. “We’ve kind of transitioned, rather than going to the club we go to the museum, which is really fun,” she said. “We’ve stopped by all kinds of wonderful monuments and different historical places. I saw all the Renaissance paintings in Florence, I went to Auschwitz and Anne Frank’s house.”

While she still has 11 more concerts to go (on her 140 show run!), it’s the team mascot that’s getting her through it. “Butters comes everywhere with us. She’s such an amazing tour dog. She brings this incredible joy because sometimes it can get incredibly tiring on the road. We love her very much and we treat her very well.”
