Meghan Markle is definitely making the most of working on one of the most stylish shows on television.

The star of “Suits” launched a gorgeous lifestyle website a year ago, turning her access into the most fashionable events, her worldly travels and her stylish group of friends into a one-stop shop for like-minded individuals to get inspired and share their fun finds.

Scrolling through The Tig, you notice many things  that make Markle’s lifestyle website very different those of her fellow celebrities. For one, she writes it all herself, and unlike other sites that just want to sell you superfluous products or overpriced kale smoothies, this lifestyle website invites you in like wine night with your best girlfriends.

Markle introduces you to her talented friends, takes you to Istanbul and gives you instant food envy, and that is just on the homepage.

We caught up with Markle on the NBCUniversal upfronts red carpet, and the actress was the embodiment of her style advice. Wearing a Giambattista Valli ensemble, complete with black trousers and a floral strapless top, Markle was comfortable, chic and perfectly tailored. From the style tricks and lessons she learned from “Suits” to her very stylish friends Olivia Palermo and Jessica Stam, Markle is our new favorite digital curator.
Read on for our exclusive interview with Meghan Markle below:

On her new lifestyle website The Tig: “I started the Tig a year ago and I do all the writing on the site. I think what’s really shifted in the past few years is I’ve gotten access to all these really cool things, be it fashion week or different kind of travel or food experiences and I just wanted to be able to share that with people and start this community. It’s not snarky and it’s not showing off, it should just be inspired.”

On the style tips she learned on the set of ‘Suits’: “The value of tailoring. Oh my god, it will change an entire outfit just to tailor something perfectly for your body. And also don’t wear something you are not comfortable in. This is my fifth year doing upfronts and I used to always try so hard. And this year, I’m like ‘I’ll wear some trousers, I’ll put on a top,’ If you feel comfortable it will just show in your confidence. I think that’s the biggest style tip.”

On her fashionista friends: “You know what is so funny. I think [Olivia Palermo] is a great example of just wearing what is comfortable for you. I love Olivia, Jess Stam is also one of my close friends. I think most of us, in our off time, we just want to be comfortable.”
