The Books’ Paul de Jong Announces Debut Solo Album IF, Shares “Auction Block”
Paul de Jong, formerly one half of The Books, has announced his debut solo album. It’s called IF, and it’s out April 28 via Temporary Residence. Listen to the album’s opening track “Auction Block” above, and find a trailer for the album below.
Back in 2012, the Books split up after releasing their final album, The Way Out, in 2010. In 2012, their output was collected on the box set A Dot in Time. The other half of the duo, Nick Zammuto, has been making records under his last name.
