Family Faceoff! Bella Hadid and Mom Yolanda Foster Step Out in Same Sexy LBD

Published

on

We’re not the first to notice that the Foster-Hadid family is giving the Kardshian-Jenners a run for their money (they both star on a reality TV shows and have supermodel siblings). Now, they’re getting into the Kardashian Kopycat game. Bella Hadid just stepped out in the same plunging dress mom Yolanda wore last season on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills to an event honoring her mom.

The mother/daughter duo both sported the same keyhole cutout, skintight Sen Couture “Ria” LBD. Yolanda first wore the design during the infamous Real Housewives of Beverly Hills getaway to Amsterdam (you remember, the trip that included that other dinner party from hell where insults and glasses went flying).

And Bella repurposed her mom’s plunging dress for Thursday night’s Global Lyme Alliance inaugural gala, where sister Gigi and (newly-minted model) brother Anwar were also there to support their mom’s ongoing battle with Lyme disease. Not only was the styling choice a significant way to honor her mom, who won the “Power of One” award, it also marked the first time we learned Bella battled the disease too.

“When my two youngest children, Bella and Anwar, were diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease in early 2012, watching my babies struggle in silence in order to support me in my journey, struck the deepest core of hopelessness inside of me,” Yolanda said during her moving acceptance speech.

She went on to dedicate the award to Anwar and Bella saying, “This is my token and my promise to you that I will not allow you to live a life of pain and suffering. I will walk to the end of the earth to find a cure so that you can live a healthy life that you deserve. No child should suffer the way that you do … I thank you both for your extraordinary selflessness during this journey. Your unwavering love and compassion has kept me alive and fighting through the darkest days of my life.”

While mom Yolanda continues to fight the disease every day, keeping fans up-to-date on her journey on social media, Bella was killing the catwalk during Fashion Month, landing coveted struts on every major designer’s runway including Balmain, Moschino and Diane von Furstenberg, to name a few. Even though Yolanda couldn’t cheer her on from the first row, she said “I did turn into a professional social media stalker, though — liking every Twitter and Instagram you have ever posted, just to let you know that I was watching you from afar and right by your side in spirit at all times.”
