We love to support our dope female musicians here at “On The Scene NY” and this time we want to spotlight the hottie from harlem with the heavenly hymns, Dani Dash. Dani’s latest project “The Last laugh”, which was released on april 4th, is a start to finish R&B/pop banger. The 5 song ep starts strong with “Freakin You”, a sexually-charged party vibe sampling TLC’s hit record “creep”. If you have never heard her sing before then prepare to be instantly captivated by her strong, crisp, and clean vocal skills. Dani first popped on the scene catching the attention of Def Jam A&R Antonio Roded in 2012 via her YouTube channel which later spawned her first single, “keep Up”. After a dedicated 5 year push for “Keep Up” she decided to finally bless the world with her debut ep “Highnotes” in 2017. Receiving High praise (pun intended) for her incredible vocal skills and her effortlessly dope song writing ability she took the lessons learned from her first project release and followed it up with “Miss me…But Let Me Go” in 2021. First off that is a COLD name for a project and with songs like “Playing games” featuring WhyThree which is currently in heavy rotation in the African market with daily spins on FM My radio. on the same project she also has a Feature from Capella Gray for the second hit off of the 4 song ep “Poker Face”. Now in 2022 with the release of “The Last Laugh” she is ready to take her position as the new queen of R&B.
